| Hello everyone! My name is Mary and I’m so happy to be a member of World Family. I’ve loved meeting all the boys and girls so far and I am glad that I’ve been so warmly welcomed by everyone. To tell you more about myself, I’ve been lucky enough to have traveled to many different countries and have lived on three continents – I’m a bit of a free spirit! I was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa to a British father and a South African mother. At the age of ten, I moved with my family to Sydney, Australia where I attended high school and university. I was also lucky enough to spend the past three years studying and working in Germany. I have many great memories back-packing across Europe! |
I’ve been interested in books and writing as long as I can remember, and this love of English and adventure has led me to choose the life of an English teacher overseas. Therefore, last year I packed up my life in Germany and moved here with my little kitten, Oscar! I’ve had a fun time teaching the boys and girls so far. I hope we can continue to get to know each other better and experience many new and wonderful things together!

讓我介紹一下自己吧。我曾經去過很多國家旅行，亦曾在3個國家居住，令我感到自己十分幸運。正因如此，這令我性格有點嚮往自由！我在南非約翰內斯堡出世和長大，爸爸是英國人，而媽媽是南非人。10歲的時候，我和家人移居至澳洲悉尼，我在那裡就讀了高中及大學。過去3年，我在德國進修和工作，這令我覺得自己真的很幸運。我在整個歐洲都有許多精彩的背包旅行回憶！
我喜歡看書和寫作，由於我喜愛英文及歷險，因此我選擇了在海外當英文教師。上年我結束了德國的生活，並且帶著我的小貓Oscar來到這裡！我很開心能夠成為各位小朋友的教師。希望我們可以繼續互相認識，並且一起體驗許多新的精彩事情！
